TECHNICAL DATA
Description: 83mm. thick acoustic door composed of a 1.5mm. thick polished plate metal frame and a sheet filled with sound absorbing materials. Equipped with double perimeter weather stripping.
Closure: Pressure using an inside cam latch.
Surface finish: Synthetic primer (prepared for painting)
Heat transfer coefficient Ud: 1,89 W/m2k.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
On the metal sub-frame:
Firmly fix the metal sub-frame to the brickwork of plasterboard Place the acoustic door (frame and sheet), always closed, against the inside opening of the sub-frame and wedge the door in until it is level. Partially spot weld the door to the sub-frame and check it is level vertically and horizontally. Do not open until welding has been concluded. Finish welding the door to the sub-frame and check it is level vertically and horizontally once agian. Open the door to ensure it is operation corectly. Seal the gaps between the rim of the sub-frame and the door with polyurethane insulation foam or acrylic putty if the gaps are small. Maintain the door closed whenever possible.
Handling:
Fitted with a cam-latch: To open, grip the handle firmly, turn it clockwise and push; to close, grip the handle firmly, draw the sheet to the frame and only then turn the handle anti-clockwise until closed.
Fitted with a slide handle: To open, grip the handle firmly, turn it clockwise and push; to close, grip the handle firmly and draw the sheet to the frame.
Fitted with a panic bar: To open, push the bar downwards and push the sheet, turn it clockwise and push; to close, grip the bar or handle and draw the sheet to the frame.
Restrictions of use
Do not strike the door with any object that might dent it. Once the door is open do not apply weight to the same. Close without slamming.
Preventive Maintenance
We recommend an annual service and Acustica Integral offers an service agreement with includes: revision of mobile door parts (hinges, handles and locks); cleaning, oiling, adjustment and verification of the good working order of all the parts, intumscent weatherstripping and sealing: replacement of damaged or mal-functioning parts.
